Total Solar Eclipse! 0.0
We have known this since basically half a year and as a good astronomy enthusiast I am, I made my family buy the special glasses waaayyy ahead of time ('cause we all know what happens when we leave things for last minute!).
This eclipse, however, is a tricky one, because it's happening very late in the day (from 19:30 to 21:00), the sun is going to be very low on the horizon, that means that you'll need a really clear or high place in order to see it correctly.
After vacation, me and my family went back to my motherside's village to pass the rest of the holidays, here we have a fairly high mount that holds an (I'll say it) beautiful Hermitage from where we'll have a clear view of the sky. Since this is a rare event. lots people are expected to come see it, so some places like the river that goes through my village, have been cut off from public in order to avoid potential risks of fire.
Needles to say I'm very fucking excited!!!, It's the first time I'm seeing an astronomical event like this, not even shooting stars (I tried one time to catch some at a meteor shower without wearing glases x_x).
Anyways, this is a really cool thing and I really can't wait to experience this once-in-a-lifetime experience with my family by my side, from the moment I'm writing this the eclipse is 2 hours away!!!.
This is it for today guys! I really ought to prepare for tonight, me and sis have to walk our dog first thing, I'm sure tonight it's going to be AMAZING. I'll tell you guys about it in later entries.
See u after they swicth off the sun!! (hopefully I'll survive)
VACATION!! (at last)
For our destination we chose a city we already had visited in the past, but is so so so BEAUTIFUL!! And honestly, we've already been 3 days in here but I've been LOVING IT so far.
We're staying for a week in an apartment that is super small but meets all our needs (plus it's super cozy in here :3). We've got a bbq place, a private pool and the whole deal, and we're also super close to a bunch of beautiful secluded coves.
To be able to explore these coves as one should we bought some water shoes and a pair of snorkeling masks (the ones that cover your whole face and make you look kinda goofy ^^), and let me tell you, I'm having way to much fun with those fuckers.
At first I had some respect for going deep into the sea, where I can't reach the bottom, but after a few times and being accompanied by my extremely adventourous mother that fears nothing (really), I got the hang of it.
And now I really enjoy going into the deep and diving to see the little (and not so little) fish doing their own silly things :D.
We also visited the historic center of the city, all full of castle, walls, alleys, dead ends, and crooked streets, beautiful as it is and has been since they built it (it still freaks me out to think I'm walking the same buildings as people from 8 centuries ago *-*).
It was also full of palm trees, and green, and little tiny snug shops...
Anyways I'm rambling, to put it short it has been ★awesome★ so far, and it promises to keep on being so. I left a photo carrousel at the bottom so you can also get a glimpse of this pretty place!
That's it for today! I really hope you're doing fine as well :3, life's good right now, and I hope it's also good for ya'll ♥, and if it isn't I hope reading this made you feel a little better, a little less alone in the madness.
We all have our days and that's alright, brighter days are always around the corner, we ought to keep strong, like this font (web-dev pun x_x).
Sending love your way ♥.
See ya!
Initial entry
Now, I'm building my very own personal website, lostboy's personal website, and for him (and for me) I want to try again.
The concept of building a personal page itself is very personal (redundancy intended!), when learning how I could build my own site I surfed a little of the web (basically neocities' pages) to see, in the work of others, how my own project could look like.
When doing so (and also inspired by 2000's pop culture and shows like Victorious or iCarly) I remembered a big part of the internet have always been blogs!
And so, since it's tradition for every good webpage to include some kind of blog, and given my yearning for having some kind of physical memento of my own life, altought it's debatable if this could be considered physical (but hey! As long as I keep it safe on my hard disk I'm fine, right? :P).
Well then, with all this, hence this part of my page (I always wanted to use that word hehe).
Anyways, that's all I wanted to say for my first ever entry on the blog.
That said, I hope you enjoy reading about all my shenanigans, thoughts, reflections and whatnots as much as I'll enjoy writing about them! Telling ya'll about lostboy's mishaps, twists and turns in life. See ya'll on the go!
Lostboy is me, I'm lostboy
